Valerie J. Anderson recently joined Murphy & Rudolf, concentrating her practice on criminal and civil litigation, primarily family law. She also has experience with Title IX investigations. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Anderson spent four years working in mental health law in Massachusetts with a focus on guardianships and civil commitments. Ms. Anderson previously worked as a prosecutor for St. Louis, Missouri Circuit Attorney’s Office, where she focused on prosecuting domestic violence crimes. Ms. Anderson is a former economist who worked in the areas of electric and gas utilities regulation and regulatory affairs.
